Difference between VPS ( Virtual Private Server ) and Dedicated Server

Each dedicated server runs on separate hardware set-ups while multiple VPS’ can run on a single hardware set-up
VPS utilizes virtualization so that it appears like a dedicated server in most aspects
VPS would cost much less than a dedicated server
VPS is a lot more complex compared to a dedicated server
Servers on a VPS might be brought down because of a problem on another server, this doesn’t happen with dedicated servers
