Remote access to MySQL database

To manage a MySQL database remotely,

1) Login to the cPanel interface.

2) Go to cPanel>>MySQL databases

3) Look towards the bottom for a section called Access Hosts

4) Through this feature you can allow a remote database connection to your databases on the server. In the Access Hosts section you should include the IP of the computer, which will initiate the remote connection.

5) If you have dynamic IP address you can add % instead which will allow connections from every IP.
